Bethany Orphanage

Many children are abandoned and left to look after themselves on the streets of India. At the end of May 2004 the first children arrived at Bethany Orphanage. In April 2005 a further 12 children arrived having been left orphaned and homeless after the Tsunami disaster devastated parts of southern India. In May 2006 some more street children were taken in.

There are now a total of 40 children in Bethany, they are given a home, fed, clothed, medically cared for and educated. AFIRM seeks to provide for these children through individual sponsorship.
