Pastor John Peters

Pastor John Peters is the founder of Charisma Ministries in India.  He is pictured here with his wife Glory and two sons Calvin & Colin.

He studied for 4 years at New Life Theological College in Madras and gained B Th. He also gained a Masters in Divinity after studying for 3 years at Kor In Theological College Bangalore. He was a Students Dean  3 years and is also a Professor in Family Counselling. He was the Principal of Kor In English School for 4 years through his knowledge and expertise built the school up to be the best school in the district providing education for 850 children.

John always had a burden to help orphans and widows and now oversees all the work of Charisma as well as running Gospel Central Church which has 100 to 120 believers.

Barry & Gill Rosser

Barry and Gill are the founders of AFIRM having first visited India in 2000. They operated as an un-registered charity for 4 years before becoming registered with the Charity Commission.

They have a daughter, Son-in-Law and 3 grandchildren. Barry is a retired carpenter and builder and brings a wealth of building knowledge to the on-going projects. He also loves to share the gospel and preaches in the small churches in India. Gill is a retired Secretary/PA and currently does most of the administration tasks for the Charity.

Kathy and Stan Pow

Kathy & Stan are married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren. They became involved in AFIRM after Barry and Gill’s first visit. They are Trustees of AFIRM.

They helped organise car boot sales, garage sales and clothes sales and are great at helping with fundraising events for the Charity. Stan also edits any video footage. Kathy is very creative and loves to organise events
 

Glory Peters

Glory is pictured here with some of the Bethany girls.  Glory is married to Pastor John.  As well as teaching in the school she takes care of the girls needs and teaches them to cook and clean.  She also speaks good English and is an exceptional host and cook.
